“Mascul1n1t1es!” is a choreography I created as part of the final presentation of the bachelor’s program in Contemporary Dance Pedagogy at MUK.theater. The piece explores the internalized demands of masculinity, such as emotional suppression and the pressure to perform strength. Danced by Sebastian Schmidt and Michael Voith, with music by Andreas Schmid and ceramic objects by Florian Schinnerl, the work reflects on the fragility behind masculine codes.
